PUERTORICAN VILLAINS
...
Ingredients of Consciousness/MIRROR

It’s irrevocable

you won’t understand the damage

the common sense and the useless language

your already thinking of ways to

come back in your own defense

the efforts all in vain

It’s irrevocable

all the shit you try to evade

all of it is exposed in the pain

which inevitably comes back your way

Innocence never could last inside of your bones

for more than one day before you’ve begun

to want and need even more greater than from

the first day you took your first breath

And still you contribute

and you fail to understand

and you ask me what’s wrong?

How could i not be over you?

My patience climbs another rung

into a level of painful awareness

It’s irrevocable

That look in my very own eyes;

The image of myself

What’s

the

problem?

The mirror contains

nothing; it only reflects

and when i stand a little further

to the left and face the wall;

I too like the mirror am reflecting

the nothing that is now the wall

Bankruptcy

in the mind

and literally//
